THANKS FOR POSTING shah3431!!!  Yippee!!!  Nice episode.  HOWEVER, The Braxton's reference to Ms. Evelyn's date threw me off.  Of course, I know that they were NOT trying to intentionally be racially or culturally insensitive, but it is always respectful not to use that particular type of verbiage when referring to individuals who are of a different race or ethnic background.

Around 30 min into the show - before Toni's about to tell her mom that she wants to move to L.A. she says "I know she was not happy about the Playboy shoot I did"..

So did she do it or not - or I didn't hear correctly?

I was so happy thinking Tamar might talk Toni out of the whole Playboy thing, but i guess Toni's overt sexuality gets the better of her everytime. Who is going to take her seriously after this?? Anyways, its her body and her life, i guess i have to live with it =(

Ivan, I think she said "Idea" not "I did".  But, it's sorta confusing when I know the show has already been taped and they have wrapped.  But, Toni has been in interviews recently saying she was still undecided about Playboy.  So who knows?  My opinion is that she should not even consider this and it will backfire.  She's too successful and is too big of a star to do it and YES, the fact that she has two small children should discourage her from doing this.  I don't care how "tastefully done" (whatever that means). 

 

Tamar is 100% CORRECT on this.  I understand that she's "Toni Braxton, Bitch!" and could care less what others think.  That's good and that's how it should be.  But, she has ZERO control over how her kids will perceive this and how others will approach them with it (private school or not) or what they will surely read on the internet and various other places about it.  Mommy first!  Egos and everything else is secondary. 

 

Totally surprised (shocked actually) that Vincent, her manager, would advise her to go ahead with it.  Anyway, love her still.

I, also hope that she doesn't do the Playboy.. I think Tamar had a point about a husband's vision of his wife.. and in Toni's case it would be her future boyfriend/husband..
