TONI RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR IN ROMANIA
Toni Braxton to perform at Vanghelie’s New Year’s Eve party
Sector 5 Mayor Marian Vanghelie will organize his ninth famed Vanghelion New Year’s Eve party on Saturday evening, after a two-year break. Singers invited to the event include Toni Braxton, Stefan Banica Jr., pepe, Holograf, Voltaj, Ovidiu Lipan Tandarica.
Seven thousand people are expected to the Central Pavilion and one thousand more to the Seniors’ New Year’s Eve party.
A ticket to Central Pavilion costs 150 lei and a ticket to the Seniors’ New Year’s Eve party costs 30 lei.
Vanghelie’s guests will be international star Toni Braxton, but also Stefan Banica Jr. and Pepe, along with bands such as Holograf and Voltaj.
The event will be hosted by Ramona Badescu and Claudiu Bleont. At midnight, Tandarica will give an extraordinary show. The menu will be French, but will also include some traditional Romanian foods. The party will begin at 9 pm and end at 5 or 6 am.
“This New Year’s party will be for the Romanians. Í didn’t do it last year because I thought it was a time of crisis and I was afraid it would be misinterpreted. But looking at what the government has done, I have seen that the money is wasted on all sorts of nonsense so I think Romanians who cannot afford much can at least have a good time,” the Sector 5 mayor said.

WHAT A GREAT GIG! AND JUST FOR THE RECORD: IT'S AN INTERNATIONAL DATE FOLKS AND WE ALL KNOW OLDER ARTISTS (OVER THE AGE OF 35) HAVE A HARD ENOUGH TIME SELLING TICKETS OR BEING INVITED TO PERFORM HERE IN THE STATES LET ALONE IN EUROPE!
This is why Toni (for her next album) needs a stronger more FOCUSED management team who first and foremost believes in her gift! She needs a label who understands who she is as an artist and where she came from! The next set of “PROFESSIONALS” Toni decides to work with need to realize how important it is for Toni to just be herself vocally without diminishing what I like to call "Toni-ism" (i.e. vocal style, type of music, quality of music, direction/market, fan base and of course image).
All of the international dates she has been asked to do over the past couple of years proves (if she was healthy enough at the time) could easily sell out dates on a world tour! People are still interested in Toni and not only in the R&B market here in United States!
After all of these years Toni and her music is STILL immensely POPULAR in Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia; it’s time to walk down the “Glory Road” once again and reclaim her throne!

I totally agree with you, foks be acting like Toni still anit got it..and she does..she just need the right people behind her,Remember back in 2001 with The Heat, folks didnt thing she could come back..and then she wins a grammy..Soooo Toni has natural talent and its time folks realize it.

Her name is Sparkle she's an R&b singer she did a song with R kelly. She also filled in for Tamar when Toni had her vegas show. Also she was on Braxton Family Values when Tamar went to Chicago, I guess they are close friends.
