Exactly @Doomsday. I know Billie did the best he could with the budget he had and I loved the video. You really didn't need an expensive video to convey the message of the song which he did very well. The only point of the video was to get more attention for the song and it did that.

I don't understand people saying that Billie could direct a better video with more money... money has nothing to do with directing. The set, the outfits and the FX is all that would be better with money. Budget or not, there's no reason for the video to be so badly edited, should have been better. Annnd, Toni needs to stop always trying to bring back the short hair, I would have loved the video all in that black outfit with the long hair, period.

The video is cute, def have to watch it a few times to really get used to it, but what I envisioned was a much better video. 

Hopefully the single does well and Toni is able to get a bit of a better budget to really put out a strong video, with a strong set and FX.

The footage of the people dancing was shot in better quality than the footage of Toni. I actually like the footage of the people dancing in the club. but not the people dancing with the white background. that looks sooo cheap.

and the beginning looked like the Spanish Guitar video with them laying on the furniture naked.

Toni definitely needs to look for new video directors.

I would like Toni to work with Chris Cottam in her next video. He directed all of the videos from Kelis' last album and those videos were excellent (both direction and fashion) and also done on a very tight budget.

THIS..I always thought she was 40 when her first album came out just cuz of her hair. A shorter haircut ages her atleast 10 years. Seriously there should be a petition of some sort to stop her from going back to that short hair look.
I think she's trying to go back to basics with the hair but in reality it is her early music she needs to revisit NOT her hairstyle.

..!.. LOL I've been laughing at comments people have posted in here. I found so humor in what you also said!..LOL On a serious tip, I've not the biggest fan of short hair on a woman. Toni doesn't look bad in it. I'm sure there are other "Betty Boop-less" short dues that look quite elegant rather than classless or ghetto. P.S. You start the petition, I will GLADLY sign it! LOL =)

I would have love the video in all long hair too! The Betty Boop movement is over! LOL Once or twice was good enough (i.e. Lindt chocolate for Autism) It's time for a change. You'd be surprised how many classy hairstyles you can cook up with a short do. Ideas anyone?

Not totally dismiss Billie cause Toni loves her some Billie, but twist it up every couple of videos/albums.

Toni looks incredible and that look goes with the music.  Short hair with pink is cool, just not my fav look. Ouch! Little straight forward there huh? I hope you weren't upset when you posted. I Heart You still came out very beautiful though. I just had some personal giggles with that headpiece. I wonder if there was a whole 'nuther costume under that since we only saw her face?

He is very talented and capable of a much better video than this, even on a budget. Many of the cheapest made videos end up being very great (for example Kelis's videos from her last album and Beyonce's videos from B'Day). It all comes down to the director. Toni should be very easy to make a video for...she looks great and she is very experienced in working the camera and posing.

Hmm, maybe he is. He is the director and she trusts him with his craft. She does have the final say in the end.

she shouldn't stop working with him, but trying another director once in a while would be good for her :)
loved I heart you video, her hair, her face, all of that dancers (they were better than the make my heart ones), love her outfits, love the feeling it all gives together. however the editing is not that good and that white all over the place wasn't a good choice.
