It most likely will be just heartstrings or maybe heartstrings & sensual vibes or heartstrings and soulful vibes. More than a woman was originally "amplified".
Alot of sites that are reporting the name are calling it bold and exciting. It makes you wonder what the album will sound like.

I don't get it... but most importantly it has certainly got people talking and wondering why!  This could be a good marketing tactic to start the buzz that an album is on its way, there's increasing number of forums asking why?   I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

hehe i agree, but ... u know what i love about toni, is nothing is final :) still some room to change the album title, its quite unique... negative or positive not so sure...

What the..?! "Heartstrings" = awesome title... but "Synagogue Vibes" immediately puts me in mind of Judaism (as in the Jewish temple, aka. Synagogue).

Sorry but that's a silly title if the "Synagogue Vibes" part remains.

NB - this is NOT against Judaism or Jewish people in anyway. It's about the religious connotations. Imagine it was called "Heartstrings and Cathedral Vibes" or "Mosque vibes" or "Temple Vibes"...

im feeling it. it is a bit different for her-but that is why i like it! if its just heartstrings or something singular and catchy, that is pretty much what she alwys does.  This is TONI BRAXTON 2012!!! I like how it makes me scratch my head! She is a mixed bag of unique. She makes you wanna dance and cry like your in a church so why not? I love being perplexed yet inspired. As long as the album comes with the fire to back it up which I have a feeling it is-it will work.

good luck with "Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes" I do not feel safe = / else could do better

Am I the only one that read the comment at the bottom of the article????

Braxton filmed the music video for "I Heart You" in the second week of March, in which her new Jewish boyfriend (whom she mentioned in her recent interview with Chelsea Handler) makes a cameo appearance as the DJ. In an interview with SheKnows during the music video shoot, Braxton revealed that her eighth studio album, Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes, which was inspired by her search of true love against society's standards and both secular and non-secular beliefs, will be released in May. She also revealed that the title of the album was inspired by her current relationship, which enabled her to re-assess her sexuality with spirituality, in which she firmly re-affirms her abstinence from sexual acts outside marriage."

Wow.....that was complete left field....I definitely have a better understanding of the album title. I love it but what will "society" say?

I also feel this could work. This title is definitely Toni (Heartstrings) with a twist (Synagogue Vibes). How creative. This will get people talking. I have a feeling this could be Toni's year too. The anticipation is building. I can feel it! =)

something is fishy about this guy acting as a DJ being her "boyfriend" ... I read the wiki part, however the source is "sheknows" article which says no such thing of a jewish boyfriend who's appearing on the video..... confusion?!

IN ADDITION, the article says that LAREID is producing the album...

It is a verg bold and confident name. I completely get "heartstrings"...heartstrings describe someone or something affecting your emotions. Love, music....all these things can pull at your strings. I heart you makes you feel excited hence dancing. As far as "synagogue vibes".....synagogue means "assembly" a gathering....so im gathering the title represents a gathering of heartfelt beautiful music. Just my thoughts anyway.
